Husqvarna to be Recognized at 2010 AMA Vintage Days
Husqvarna has had a colorfull history, starting out as a Swedish company in 1903, moving to Italian ownership in 1987, and is now a part of the BMW Group. Throughout the past century, the company has built some pretty incredible machines, including motorcycles that have won numerous world championships in off-road and endurance racing. The company dominated AMA off-road racing in the 1970s and '80s, and has recently made a return to the national racing scene in AMA Enduro.
According to Husqvarna, fans who attend the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days (July 9-11, 2010) will have a chance to look back into the company's history through educational displays and seminars. Husqvarna will also host its annual dealer meeting in conjunction with the event.
“That’s why we are thrilled to launch the next decade of Husqvarna Motorcycles as the Marque of the Year at this prestigious venue,” said Mark Brady, President of Husqvarna Motorcycles North America.
